Accessibility statement

Information about your rights, our responsibilities and how the mobile ultrasound service operates.

Last updated: 26 July 2026

Our commitment

Advance Health Limited wants its website and mobile ultrasound service to be usable by as many people as possible. We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA and to make reasonable adjustments for disabled people under the Equality Act 2010.

This statement covers the public website at /clinic, including scan information, booking, contact, policy and patient-access pages.

Using this website

The website includes:

  • keyboard navigation and a visible “Skip to content” link;
  • clear headings, labels, instructions and focus indicators;
  • zoom and reflow on smaller screens;
  • readable colour contrast and text spacing;
  • reduced motion when this is requested in device settings; and
  • semantic controls for menus, forms, pagination and FAQ accordions.

You should be able to zoom browser content to at least 200% and use the main public pages without a mouse. Browser, operating-system and assistive-technology combinations can behave differently.

Known limitations

We are continuing to review the site and do not yet claim full WCAG 2.2 AA conformance. Known or potential limitations include:

  • third-party payment interfaces may not be fully controlled by us;
  • some uploaded reports or historic documents may not be fully accessible to screen readers;
  • clinical images may need more detailed alternative descriptions; and
  • complex availability and calendar controls can require additional testing with different assistive technologies.

If an inaccessible document or control prevents you from using the service, contact us and ask for the information or booking support in an alternative format.

Mobile visits and reasonable adjustments

Because this is a mobile service, the examination can take place at a suitable home, care home, workplace or healthcare setting. Tell us during booking about mobility, communication, sensory, learning-disability, carer, interpreter, positioning, access or other needs.

We will discuss reasonable adjustments with you. What is possible can depend on the examination, the visit environment, clinical safety and the availability of appropriate support. We do not charge for reasonable adjustments.

Alternative ways to contact or book

If you cannot use the online form, use our contact page to tell us what support or format you need. A carer or representative may contact us with your authority.

Please include:

  • the page or feature causing difficulty;
  • what you were trying to do;
  • the device, browser or assistive technology used, if known; and
  • the best accessible way for us to reply.

Avoid sending unnecessary clinical details in an initial accessibility message.

Assessment and review

This statement was prepared on 26 July 2026. The website has undergone development checks for keyboard focus, responsive layout, semantic structure and automated test coverage. It has not yet undergone a full independent accessibility audit.

We review accessibility when important features or content change and will update this statement as issues are confirmed or resolved.
